Occupy New England 4th Regional Convergence

Occupy New England will be hosting it's 4th Regional Convergence in New Hampshire. We would like to invite all interested organizations and individuals to attend. Iraq Veterans Against the War: "Operation Recovery"

Large portions of our military members and veterans are suffering from Military Sexual Trauma (MST), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and/or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) yet their right to heal is violated on a mass scale. Traumatized service members have been forced to deploy against the best interest of their health and well being throughout the Global War on Terror. Now with the return of troops from Iraq, the military is trying to skirt it’s responsibilities to care for service members.

Carlos and Melida Arredondo lost their son Alex to the Iraq war in 2004.  On Dec. 19, their only other child, Brian Arredondo, committed suicide. They've fought tirelessly since the loss of Alex so that no more families would loose their loved ones. As a shining and profoundly moving voice in the antiwar movement, they've become friends and inspiration to many.

Please join Carlos and Melida to remember Brian Arredondo and all those who have taken their lives by suicide.

Calling hours will be 4-9 pm.
