Extinction Rebellion: disrupt business as usual at the Seaport district

When: Friday, September 27, 2019, 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm
Where: Dewey Square • near South Station • Boston

Our planet is facing climate, ecological, and societal collapse because of human behavior. We continue to burn oil, coal, & natural gas, and destroy and pollute natural habitats. Together, we must rise up to create a just and livable future for all life on earth. We cannot sit back any longer and hope that someone will save us. We must stand together and demand that our governments tell the truth about the climate emergency and act now.

On September 27, we will peacefully disrupt business-as-usual in order to raise awareness about the climate emergency and call on the public to join the rebellion. We will also demand that the Massachusetts government declare a climate emergency and implement policies to address it.

We have some super interesting programming for our surprise event, and lots of roles to be filled so please get in touch if you'd like to participate more actively - we welcome your participation at any level. You can reply to this email or contact me at, or signal me at 617-417-3777. Or if you want to just show up for the party, that's fine too!

Please also sign up on our event page (not just the Facebook one) if you'd like to receive updates on our plans (tho' it's likely the public information won't change much)

Please spread this news to your lists, and we'd be thrilled if you'd also post on your website and Facebook page. (You can share from our Facebook page, .  While you're there "like" us too, thanks!)

Join us on 9/27 at 3:30 PM, Dewey Park near South Station, and we'll proceed  to our destination together.

Love & rage,
