Dr. Matt Dumont: "Thinking On The Precipice"

When: Sunday, December 18, 2016, 11:00 am to 1:30 pm
Where: Community Church of Boston • 565 Boylston Street, 2nd floor • Boston

Dr. Matt Dumont will speak about the effects of apocalyptic capitalism on us Americans, who are living in its belly. The Empire of Capitalism is self-destructing, but its hegemony is so vast that its implosion will be devastating and irreparable. Those of us who hoped to build a sensible socialist society are likely to be its first victims, as Capital turns against those who refused to be its cheerleaders for the system but were thoughtful critics instead.

The guns and bombs we so profitably manufacture in the US are increasingly being turned against us as we have become the most hated nation in history. We have put our faith in a god called “The Market” and in the process we have poisoned the very soil, water and air we need to live.

Without change these pernicious forces that are increasing at an alarming rate will destroy us and the world.
