Rally to Stop FBI Raids and Repression

When: Tuesday, January 25, 2011, 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm
Where: Park Street Station • Tremont & Park Streets • Boston
On January 25, nine anti war activists are due to appear before a Grand Jury in Chicago. They are among a total of 23 activists around the country who have had their homes raided by the FBI and have been served Grand Jury subpoenas. The majority may face time in jail for their decision not to talk to US Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald’s Grand Jury.

Take a stand for freedom of speech and the right to organize by joining this National Day of Action! Protest the use of FBI raids and a Grand Jury to repress anti-war and solidarity activists!

This rally is sponsored by: ACLU of Massachusetts, Boston Coalition for Palestinian Rights, Boston United National Antiwar Committee, Code Pink Boston, International Action Center,  Jewish Voice for Peace - Boston, National Lawyers Guild - Massachusetts Chapter, Socialist Party USA, Stop the Wars Coalition, WILPF Boston, United for Justice with Peace.
