Join Workmen's Circle - Boston for a respectful forum on several of today's most complicated and "hot topics" related to the Israeli - Palestinian conflict.  We aim to create a space for probing and open discussion about issues that often divide the Jewish community.  Our panel includes a prominent national voice on the Jewish left and two of Boston's esteemed Jewish community leaders:

Leibel Fein:  Columnist - the Jewish Daily Forward newspaper; founder and former editor of Moment Magazine.

JVP mini-film festival

To celebrate community and to help build an audience for the Fifth Annual Boston Palestinian Film Festival, we invite you to two informal meet-greet-eat evenings in south Brookline, followed by two classic films and discussion: October 2nd ("Death in Gaza") and October 16th, (“Budrus” )  from 5:30 - 8 pm. Come to one, the other or both!

These evenings are especially geared toward folks who may be new to the Israel-Palestine conflict and would like to build their own understanding of the dynamic events unfolding in the region.

We also extend a special welcome to members of the JVP Boston Allies, a "home" within JVP for non-Jews who wish to acknowledge the different histories and relationships Jews and non-Jews may have to Israel . The Allies (previously know as “JVP Caucus”) is an integral part of JVP Boston and shares the same positions and actions. Filed under:
