Posting Events to the Calendar

The UJP events calendar features peace and justice events in the Greater Boston region, plus national events of special significance that may attract Boston area peace and justice activists.

UJP reserves the right to edit material for style, to remove defamatory material, or to remove material inconsistent with UJP's Principles.

To post an event, you may sign up for an account on the UJP web site.    After your account is approved by the webmaster, sign in to it, and then click here to post your event.   You will be asked for the date and time, location, title, and details.   Your event appears immediately after you post it.    See the tutorials on posting material on the site.

The title of your event should be no more than 9 words long and should not contain capitalized words, except acronyms.

Please consider including an image with your event.  If you do, the image will appear in the calendar on the front page of the site for the 10 days prior to the event.   The images are limited to 120 x 200 pixels (horizontal).

Or, you may also e-mail your event to events@justicewithpeace.org.   The UJP site administrator will post it within 24-48 hours.

If the event is sponsored by a UJP member group (Eastern Mass. community peace organization or member peace and justice group), you can ask that it be e-mailed to the Activist email list, or for specially important events, to the "big list".    See guidelines and info on this process.
