Dani Filc, Physicians for Human Rights-Israel Speaking--"Tightening the Circles of Excluision: Israel and Health Care in the Occupied Palestinian Territories "
He will be discussing his new book: Circles of Exclusion: The Politics of Health Care in Israel, a brilliant critique of the changes in Israeli health care from a focus on social welfare to American-style market medicine and the use of health care as a potent tool for occupation and control over Palestinians in Israel and the Occupied Territories .
Books will be available.
Dr. Filc will also present a talk on Monday the 25th at 5pm at the Harvard Kennedy School.
