We invite you to join us this June for the Joiner Institute's 30th Annual Writers' Workshop Festival, June 26-30, 2017 at UMass Boston. Celebrating 30 years of community and creative responses to war. 
Our 30th Joiner Institute Writers' Workshop Festival features Master Classes by acclaimed writers like Brian Turner, Martha Collins, Michael Patrick McDonald, Boston Poet Laureate Danielle Legros Georges and more. Visiting Writers include Carolyn Forché, Yusef Komunyakaa and visiting writers from Vietnam. Roundtable Discussions on writing and war. Readings by veterans, Warrior Writers, participants, and faculty. Plus a 30th Poetry and Music Celebration at the Boston Public Library on June 27.
