Rallies Against Cuts to Medicare, Social Security and Medicaid

National Day of Action on the Fiscal Cliff

On Election Day we sent a clear message to our members of Congress: Massachusetts needs good jobs and more revenue, not crippling cuts to healthcare, public services, and education.

Cuts to Medicare, Medicaid, Head Start and other vital services will harm thousands of children, seniors, and people with disabilities — and drag our economy back into the recession in the process.

On Monday, December 10, join friends, neighbors, and community leaders as we tell congress it’s time to get to work on the issues that really matter. The decisions our elected leaders make in the coming weeks will have a huge impact on our entire community. Stand up and make your voice heard! Co-Sponsored by: Mass Uniting, MA Jobs with Justice, MA Senior Action Council, 1199SEIU, Health Care For All, and the Greater Boston Labor Council.
