The Boston Workmen's Circle is pleased to co-sponsor an event with OneVoice where we will hear from an Israeli and Palestinian, youth activists, who will share their assessment of the state of relations between the two sides - and what they are doing to bridge the divides and work toward peace. OneVoice is a grassroots movement that empowers ordinary citizens to take personal responsibility to end the conflict. Through youth leadership training, town hall meetings, and grassroots mobilization, OneVoice's young activists hold their political leadership accountable, demanding a negotiated, comprehensive and permanent agreement between Israel and Palestine.
"Operating in parallel in Palestine and Israel, OneVoice is a grassroots movement that empowers ordinary citizens to take personal responsibility to end the conflict. Through youth leadership training, town hall meetings, and grassroots mobilization, OneVoice’s young activists hold their political leadership accountable, demanding a negotiated, comprehensive and permanent agreement between Israel and Palestine. OneVoice’s vision of a two-state solution will end the occupation, ensure security and peace for both sides, and solve all final status issues in accordance with international law and previous bilateral agreements." -taken from the One Voice organization
