Councilor Marjorie Decker invites you to join the discussion and learn about the true costs of energy from coal. The evening includes a short film screening and discussion on the health, human rights and environmental impacts and will also touch on some of the clean energy alternatives.

Producer Eric Grunebaum’s compelling documentary “The Last Mountain” delves into the impacts of coal while also looking at some of our energy alternatives.

Avi Chomsky, Prof. Salem State U., Co-Editor, The People Behind the Coal on Colombian miners
Pat Gozemba, Prof. Salem State U., organizer in efforts to close the Salem coal plant
Drew Grande, Massachusetts Sierra Club Beyond Coal Organizer

The film, “The Last Mountain”, will be shown, followed by a panel discussion.
